Rose Wylie

Rose Wylie studied at Folkstone and Dover School of Art, and at the Royal College of Art. All of her work centres on painting and drawing. In 2010, she was Great Britain’s sole representative in Women To Watch, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington D.C. Two years later, she held her first retrospective exhibition at the Jerwood Gallery, Hastings, followed by her BP Spotlight exhibition at Tate Britain in 2013.These led to museum shows in Philadelphia, Norway, Germany, Copenhagen, Dublin, Margate, and Seoul. She received the Paul Hamlyn Award in 2011, the John Moores Painting Prize in 2014, and the Charles Wollaston Award in 2015.
