This is Odedina’s first commission for Cure3 about which he states: “The work is titled Brain Box because I wanted to respond directly and unambiguously to the issue at hand. The cube is one of the five Platonic solids but is unique in having faces with an even number of sides and every face complete with a point of symmetry, it’s quite simply perfect and to my mind its inherent stability suggests control, endless possibilities and makes it analogous to the human brain.
