Each structure is a result of growth that begins with a single cube. At each successive step, a new cube is added. The structures gradually branch out ensuring that their parts do not occlude each other and allowing them to merge back together for structural stability. The resulting compositions evoke architectural references, but the inspiration for this process comes from a botanical phenomenon where branches of one or different trees merge and grow as one. This defies the hierarchical growth structure, as wounded branches heal reciprocally by uniting into a new wholeness –– an act that symbolises resilience and the potential for regeneration.

As an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Warsaw, he researched human-computer interaction in design. He holds a PhD in architecture and urban planning and specialises in generative modelling, programming, machine learning, and responsive design. Since 2021, Jacek has applied his experience to the field of art. His work merges architectural and natural inspiration with forms created through mathematical and algorithmic logic. He has collaborated with platforms and galleries such as fx(hash),Verse,Tender, and Bright Moments.
in osculari consists of two parts: a digital series featuring algorithmically generated structures and a sculpture that physically represents one artwork from the digital series, fabricated for the Cure3 exhibition.
