Allen Jones is one of Britain’s most distinguished artists from the pioneering Pop Movement. In addition to numerous solo exhibitions, including a retrospective at the Royal Academy of Arts, London (2015), his paintings and sculptures are in the 101 permanent collections of Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden,Washington DC; the Museum of 20th-Century Art,Vienna; and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Jones was elected a Royal Academician in 1986, and in 2007 was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts at Southampton Solent University.

He has been the subject of retrospectives at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; Serpentine Gallery, London; and the Barbican Art Gallery in London. He has designed for London’s Royal Ballet, Ballet Rambert, West Deutsche Television and Thames Television in the UK. He has been making sculpture since the mid eighties with works in public spaces in the UK, USA, Singapore and China.
